Danny Sykes’ hope to escape his violent past is complicated when his sister Lily begs him to spare her ex-boyfriend and alleged rapist from the wrath of their crime boss sister, Kat. Danny must choose between his sisters, keeping his word or restoring his family’s honor.

Director Biography – Tom Ptasinski

Tom Ptasinski has been a dedicated filmmaker since the age of eight. Born in and raised in Chicago, IL, Tom made movies all the way to The Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University. Since then he’s lived and worked in Los Angeles, starting in development for David Foster Productions whose past projects include “Short Circuit,” “Mask of Zorro” and “The Thing” (original and remake). In 2012, he developed, wrote, and co-executive produced the successful crowd-sourced web pilot “L5” shot entirely in his hometown of Chicago. “L5” garnered over 15 million views in its first week of release online and screened at Comic-Con. Recently, he left his 6-year position at “The Dr. Phil Show” to pursue his own projects. He has written and directed several shorts including the dark comedy “Mon Ballon et Moi” which screened at the 2016 Chicago International Reel Film Festival and “A Good Brother” which will make it’s festival debut shortly. Tom also produced and directed 20 joint music and documentary videos for Chicago musician Mike Mentz ‘s “Live in Thailand” album (first video to debut in Oct. 2017). He is currently a working screenwriter with several features to his name (written, not yet produced), recently collaborating with Hollywood legend James Hong on his film “Pasty Lee: Private Eye.” He also has a few personal projects in development. When not moviemaking, Tom teaches writing, directing, and film production at Dodge College Summer Film Academy which he has done for over a decade.
