Greg Biltmore doesn’t want to attend his 10 year high school reunion, but he does want to show off to his old bullies, so he downloads an app called DOPPEL-4U that hires a doppelgänger to go for him.
Malka Martz-Oberlander is a 20 year old independent writer, director, camera operator and current film student at Capilano University, based in so-called Vancouver B.C. Canada. Her plan is to fix the world through comedy and explore the new ways we can use humour to grapple with tough subjects. Her work is driven by curiosity and out-of the box thinking and a passion to talk in third person.
It’s very easy to hide from who we really are. This film is a fictionalized take on my experience growing up about having to confront the fact that we all want to be someone else, but sometimes that “someone else” just isn’t as good as you.
