GIANNI DI MARCO(GINO), a current dance professor at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, started offering synchronous ballet classes from home at the end of March. Aiming to provide quality dance education in this challenging time, he reformed and upgraded his teaching methods. As an artist, he stayed creative and worked on a new production while unexpected things happened.
RUTH WHITNEY (RUTH), a current successful professional ballet dancer who would have her retirement show in 2020, is now facing new challenging realities under every day uncertain situations. Many real and concrete life tasks and opportunities lie in her evolving journey.
AMANE TAKAISHI(AMANE), a young professional ballet dancer and a current master-of-arts candidate in dance education, recently started her dancer career in Boston and decided to stay local instead of moving back to Japan with her family in March 2020. MEREDITH WELLS(MEREDITH), a previous professional ballet dancer who left a job that she had held for five years as a dance teacher in the middle of the global pandemic, soon transferred her backyard to a ballet school and began a new journey in 2020.
