All rooms in Hostal España, a modest guesthouse located in the centre of the city of Leon, are occupied by elder people. Many of them come from the abandoned rural areas that surround the city. In its rooms, corridors and dining room, seasons follow one another without pause for a community that has been invited to record their daily lives and thus participate in the creation of a film that accounts for other possible way of living the old age.
