Logline: The story of a man who finds his true calling after losing everything.
Steve visits the grave of his daughter on the way to a job interview and expresses his anxiety. The interview doesn’t go as well as he would have liked and he misses out on the opportunity. When he gets home, his young wife, Candy, reminds him that he needs to find work soon as she would like to have a child before she gets older. They have an argument and she walks out of the house. Steve decides to take a walk in nature to try and improve his mood. He gets lost and is saved by the forest ranger’s dog, and is guided back to civilization.
The next day, while looking at job advertisements in the newspaper, he hears a little boy creating a tantrum as the balloon shop is closed and he wanted one. Steve takes out his notebook and sketches the boy holding balloons and gives it to him. The boy accepts the sketch and looks at it and smiles. Steve decides to change his profession and creates doodles for a living instead.
Nick Sesh is primarily a story-teller. He has been and continues to do so through photography, blogs, poetry, scripts and now his films. He hasn’t studied film in the traditional sense. He has been to a few workshops and did a bit of theater in India and was drawn to directing the actors perform more dramatically. He enjoys creating stories that are haunting, intense, and tugs at heart strings. He loves getting new music and song written and created to add to his own creations to produce fantastic results.
I am grateful to have finally found my calling in life. But this may also change and isn’t limited just to film. I welcome collaboration from any and every one and believe that we need to come together to change the world and create positive vibrations. I intend to do that through the medium of film and music.
