The To-DoN’T List
Growing up in Colorado Springs, CO, director David J. Porras became enamored with cinema at a young age. After dropping out of college at the age of 22, David spent years working menial jobs just struggling to survive. At the age of 30, David returned to school at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in order to pursue his greatest passion. Filmmaking. As David’s final requirement for graduation, he created a horror-comedy capstone film titled, “The To-DoN’T List.” David is interested in attending graduate school and evetually relocating to California in order to more actively pursue his passion for filmmaking.
“The To-DoN’T List” was created as my final capstone project at UCCS. The film, as was required, was shot in a single 12-hour work day, with the initial cut being completed less than a week later.
